The Power Of Positive Thinking
In a year when many manufacturers consolidated product ranges rather than investing in new product developments, leading manufacturer of showering solutions, Creda Showers, embarked on its most significant programme of new product introductions for many years.
Creda Showers has been manufacturing showering solutions for many years and, in that time the company has witnessed the many ‘rises and falls’ of the UK construction market. The last 12 to 18 months has been, without doubt, one of the most challenging periods during the company’s history thanks to the far-reaching and damaging effects of the global recession. However, not one to rest on its laurels, Creda Showers faced the credit crunch head on and introduced its most significant programme of new products for many years.
“Creda Showers is a quality brand that stands for innovation and pioneering technology,” explains Kevin Tolson of Creda Showers. “Throughout the company’s history, Creda Showers has been at the very forefront of quality, affordable design and, despite the recent difficult market conditions, we took the decision that the best way forward was to invest in new product development, driving choice and confidence through product innovation.”
Part of this new product development, saw Creda Showers enter the digital showering market for the first time with the introduction of the new Thermostatic Digital Mixer Shower.
“Our competitors have had digital showering products within their ranges for a while now, but we took the decision not to jump on the bandwagon of the new ‘digital phenomenon’ and instead took our time developing our product, ensuring that we were able to offer customers the best possible technology at the best possible price,” continued Kevin. “Given the current economic climate and the fact that consumers are now being much more careful with money, it could be easy to assume that the cost of digital technology will still be too prohibitive for many. However, that is not the case with the Creda Thermostatic Digital Mixer Shower. As is synonymous with the Creda Showers brand, the new Digital Mixer Shower brings together the very latest in shower design, styling and performance to deliver a truly leading edge thermostatic digital mixer shower with an extremely affordable price tag.”
Creda Showers also strongly supports the Government’s recent revisions to Part G of the Building Regulations but believes more can still be done.
“It is encouraging that the Government is doing something to tackle the issues of hot water safety and water efficiency with the latest amends to the Building Regulations,” commented Kevin. “Hot water safety is something Creda Showers takes very seriously. However, it is important to note that the new regulations only affect new build properties and do not stipulate specific safety measures for showers. Therefore, it still remains the role of manufacturers and merchants to continue to educate customers about these important issues, helping them to understand the importance of products that offer additional safety features, particularly for households with young children, elderly or less able people.”
To support its wide range of new product introductions, Creda Showers has also invested heavily in new supporting material for retailers and customers. The company website has undergone a major revamp, ensuring that both retailers and customers have access to the very latest product information and a source of advice on important issues such as the latest Building Regulations.
Creda Showers helps support a workforce of more than 250 people, including a dedicated after sales support service of both engineers and professional installers. This ensures that Creda Showers always has the right solution for any showering installation.
“It has been an exciting year for the Creda Showers brand in terms of product development,” concluded Kevin. “2010 will be no different in terms of continued innovation and investment and we are looking forward to working closely with retailers over the next twelve months to ensure that the Creda Showers brand continues to deliver award-winning and pioneering technology. Despite the challenges that may still lie ahead, we believe that being positive and taking swift, decisive action in delivering exactly what the market needs is the way forward, both now and in the future so watch this space!”

Pioneer DJM's - Do All Mixer's Work The Same With Vinyl As They Do With CDJ's?
I'm looking to buy a DJ mixer from the Pioneer DJM range, most probably between the 500's, 600's or even the 800's (if the asking price is right) , but I only use vinyl, so I want to know if things like beat effects and other things on all these mixer's actually work with vinyl the same way they do with CDJ's?
In addition to this, I've been looking on ebay to see if there's any good deals on these mixer's, but if anyone has any other good recommendations as to where to look (even for second hand mixer's), please could you suggest them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanx in advance
The BPM counter should work with vinyl too - it works by detecting the beat so it should be fine. All the other features will work too but I am not sure the mixer can control the turntable as it would the CD players (start stop cue etc etc).
