How long will it take my hermit crab to reach full size?
My hermit crab hermie that we got at the mall about 2 months ago is still the same size he is right now, his shell is about the size of my big toe, sorry for the weird measurement 
. Anyway, how long will it take him to grow to be full sized?
Hermit crabs only grow about a millimetre a year. It can take 10 years or more for the crab to become large.
Each time they moult and shed their exo they grow a tiny bit although you may not notice it.
I've had mine since 2004 and I'm starting to see a difference in my smaller crabs. My large crabs are staying more or less the same.
i hope he isn't you're only crab. They need to be kept in groups
