Drum And Bass Software – The Best Program To Produce Fat Beats
If you are tying to find the drum and bass software to produce your own tracks, please listen up. It doesn't matter if you're a complete novice or a seasoned engineer/producer - everyone knows that the greatest beats are made in simple sequencing programs.
International DJs and producers like: Hive, DJ Marky, Roni Size, B-Complex and Noisia use simple programs just like this, which are not hard to learn how to use. A close friend of mine who is a DJ and producer/recording engineer has the most expensive Protools setup with rack-mounted hardware and a massive console. With all the money he has spent on this gear to record RnB artists and rock bands, when it comes to making his own drum and bass, he still reverts to this software.
I started messing around with it, back when I knew nothing at all about programming beats and productions. These days I am selling my beats online and actually making some income from it. The same beats that I make with my drum and bass software on my laptop computer at home, I am (and some of my bigger name DJ buddies) now mixing them into to my live sets, and people are loving it.
Some of the software features include:
- The ability to create all kinds of beats; sick drum and bass, hip hop, techno
- Compatible with both MAC and PC
- Stand alone software with no need for expensive hardware units
- Highly advanced sequencing system with drum machine panel with keyboard triggers so there is no need for a midi controller
- High quality mix bounces – no low quality MP3 quality results
As per the aforementioned, probably the best feature of this drum and bass software is that all the samples and drum sounds are high quality .wav files. This is important if you want to actually sell your music one day or spin them live. No one wants to have to rebuild their beats in another program because, like so many, all their sounds are of poor quality to save memory and load time.
So don't keep searching for drum and bass software, try it out here:

Where can I find some good drum samples online Preferably rock/metal drums?
Does anyone know where I can find some good rock/metal drum samples online? I've got Acoustica Beatcraft and I'm trying to find some better drum samples to put in there. Like ones that let the ringing go on for a good while if you know what I'm talking about. For example, on a real drums set the snare, Bass drum, and cymbals, toms, and such when you hit the drum it takes a while for it to fade out and come to a complete silence. I've found that most samples made online are cut short so it sounds kinda fake and it's quite annoying. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
If you want to get good, quality drum samples you're probably going to have to pay a decent amount of money for them. While there are sites that allow downloads of some samples they are ALWAYS of very poor quality, i.e. small bit rates, short samples and chopped (or "truncated") tails.
Luckily, sampling is a very competitive market so companies are constantly coming out with higher quality samples and lower prices.
If you want single shot samples, then you probably couldn't do better than either BFD or Drumkit From Hell Superior.
BFD has a good range of multisampled drum sounds for a relatively low price. DFHS is a little more meticulous, but might be overkill for what you need...it comes with a LOT of sounds, but they were recorded by Thoms Haake, of the metal band Meshuggah, so many of the samples have a decidedly metal sound to them. A third one you may want to check out is Native Instruments Battery 3. Battery 3 is the cheapest (I think) of the three but also has the widest variety of sounds, although I don't think many of them would be very conducive to metal.
Do a Google search on these three products. You should have no trouble finding audio samples of all of them. If none of them are really doing it for you, then check out www.soundsonline.com. Soundsonline is probably the largest third party sample provider on the world, so you can find a huge variety of samples from many different companies on their web site...also, most of them are accompanied by audio examples.
Good luck!
