{wireless microphone system}
What is the best handheld wireless mic to buy for the money?

1. I'm not looking cheap, but if a mark of $ 500 expenses of a microphone is bad quality, I'd rather pay 400 or 600 for a better quality. 2. This is for a church with 250 seats. We have a Mackie 24- channels (if I remember correctly) mixer with a headset microphone for the worship leader and a lapel microphone for the pastor, pulpit with a microphone. We use input from CD, Tape, Computer, Piano and Keyboard and two choir mics. 3. We are looking for four microphones to replace wired microphones and clean up the mess from the bone on the platform.

I can not say specifically for the microphone, but I love my wireless guitar Sennheiser system is impressive, so I think I have heard and the system of micro wire is first class and

What are the two types of digital audio connections on the back of the Digidesign 002 interface?

What are the two types of connections digital audio on the back of the Digidesign 002 interface?

The rear panel of the Digi 002 has a full range of inputs and outputs (see fig. 1). The system is fixed: no ports E / S for optional cards to suit your particular system. However, decisions made by Digidesign are solid. Input Channels 1 to 4 are configured as four XLR microphone inputs with 48V phantom power, as well as four ¼-inch line / instrument inputs. These are controlled by front panel switches and input gain knobs. Defeatable 75 Hz high-pass filters are thrown in for good measure. There are four ¼-inch level analog line, each with four individual dBu/-10 dBV level switches. For added flexibility, the Digi 002 has two inputs Alt Source -10 dBV RCA jacks. They can be used to run a CD player or tape through the system and directly to the monitors. Selection buttons on the front panel that allow you to switch between the output level of Digi 002 and the output of the power going to the Alt monitoring section. In addition, the source of Alt can be directed to Digi 002 inputs 7 and 8. In my setup, I created a standard audio path of my Mac in the Alt Source inputs. Thus, it could quickly switch between Pro Tools and other audio applications like SoundApp and Amadeus II, without having to take care of software problems that arise when containment path is not Digidesign audio through Digidesign hardware with the sound control panel. 12 outputs analog of the Digi 002 unit consists of a pair of monitor outs, the main results of 1 to 8, and a couple of alternative main outputs. All outputs are on jacks ¼ inch +4 dBu operation, with the exception of the Alt outputs, which are -10 dBV RCA designed to connect to a consumer level device, such as a tape drive. Monitoring level is controlled by a volume pot on the front panel. There's also Mono and Mute for the monitoring system and a headphone jack, with level knob. As a final touch, the Digi 002 starts with the Monitor Mute button engaged, which prevents any nasty bumps appear or blow your head the first time you boot your rig. However, the output section is well designed and well implemented. Note that the Digi 002 is clearly designed to create music in stereo. What could possibly connect the outputs 3 to 8 for a 5.1 system, but the lack of control in the hardware (and software Pro Tools LE) for that type of setting causes the optimal approach. All ¼-inch analog inputs and outputs Balanced Trs connections, although TS unbalanced cables can also be used. The unit we received for review showed a marked difference in the noise and hum when I switched to using balanced unbalanced wiring, I recommend using balanced cables whenever possible. The Digi 002 supports two channels of S / PDIF I / O on unbalanced RCA connectors, with a resolution 16-bit, 44.1 kHz and 24 bits and 96 kHz. There are also Lightpipe I / S, which can be configured to accept two channels of the channel S / PDIF (which running 24-bit, 96 kHz), eight ADAT data, also 24 bits, but are limited to the ADAT standard rate of 44.1 kHz or 48 samples. The Digi 002 is connected to the computer with a FireWire (IEEE 1394) and offers two FireWire ports, allowing you to daisy chain other devices. In practice, I connected the computer to a hard disk Digi FireWire 002 and put the end of the string, which worked well. As a test of bandwidth, I tried recording and playback of 32 simultaneous channels of 24-bit, 96 kHz resolution to a single FireWire drive. The Digi 002 handled the work without any problem, just choking when it launched editions and vanishes in the session. That's very impressive. To complete the connections are MIDI input and two MIDI outputs discrete. That allows the Digi 002 to act as a 16 channels 32 channels of output interface MIDI. A standard IEC power connector and a pedal jack completes the scene. One important link is missing: a dedicated input sync word in a BNC connection. While the Digi 002 can slave to the digital S / PDIF or Lightpipe, many studies have a master clock that synchronizes all digital devices, using coaxial cables.
